Officially on vacation! Started out the day at 7:00 a.m. by hooking our 6-wheeled Argo ATV behind the truck for a quick trip into the Brazeau to retrieve a boat brother Les and I had left in our hunting camp last fall and packing up Jazz for her stay at Club Mead Pet Resort in Nisku. We dropped off Jazz with some trepidation at 7:45, as our experience with another kennel in April was quite disastrous. However, we were impressed by what we saw of the kennel and left our little girl for her two and a half week stay at camp.

From there it was on to the Brazeau, arriving by 11:00 a.m. Offloaded the Argo, hooked up the ATV tub trailer and made our way to the hunting camp. No problem with the drive in and everything in camp was as we had left it last fall. After loading the 12' fiberglass boat onto the trailer and lashing it down as best we could, we had an uneventful ride back to the truck.

Once back at the truck, we loaded everything up again and it was off to Lake Isle where we planned on offloading the boat before heading back home. Hit the lake by 5:00 p.m., hoisted the boat onto a rack and back home by 6:00 p.m.

Arriving home we ordered a pizza, ate, finished most of our packing, then off to bed by 11:00 p.m. Full day, but everything went as planned.
